Thoughts-It is very important to us that we  run a sustainable business,  and part of this is to encourage children to be knowledgeable and proactive in all things eco.  We firmly believe that knowledge about the living world is powerful, and that young children will be able to use their knowledge to care for and protect the environment in the future.   We try to give the children interesting  and playful nature connection experiences.  We aim for the children and staff at Forest Foxes to be both tender in our approach to looking after the world, and yet strong in terms of our protection of environments and habitats.

Actions- We plan many experiences for children to be involved with looking after their local habitat and to understand about things they can do to help. These include such things as litter picking, looking after our adopted tree, making bird boxes, making bug hotels, learning about mini-beasts, learning about tree and plant ID, foraging, doing bird surveys, making sure we leave no trace, composting, working with the ranger service, learning about different habitats and enjoying our daily play in nature

Our Improvement plan-this year our improvement plan includes a section about us as active members of the community and contributing to our local environment through our actions.
